whew...

Sorry for the e e cummings look but
i'm typing one handed today.

we went to church today
it was the children's nativity play and we couldn't miss that
but during the second hymn our music director collapsed
EMTs were called and church resumed in the fellowship hall

our baby was Jesus in the play
and flash was a donkey/angel/shepherd/king
7 kids in the play based on Tobias
like readers theater

today is bitter cold with wintery mix
2 hour delay of school
and Hubby has a funeral and graveside
and check on the music directorat the hospital

I hope the funeral's not for the person who collapsed! Would love to see pictures of donkey and baby Jesus if you took any.

Just eagerly caught up on your baby posts. She's so beautiful! Loved you description of the nativity play. Was asked if we wanted to have our baby be Jesus in the play at preschool, but decided I wasn't quite ready to hand over a two-day-old baby to a four-year-old Mary. Don't think anyone was really expecting me to say yes!

Senior minister used Baby as a prop for the children's sermon yesterday, though, and that was all right--except I was worried it was a bit too much attention to our family. Didn't want to begin to imply that our baby's coming was parallel to the coming of the baby Jesus. How has that been with Hubby in the senior pastor role at your church?

we had someone collapse in church yesterday too....she was one of our 94 year old members and appears to have been dehydrated...still the EMT's took her to the hospital...hope your choir director is ok...

otherwise, all went well..hope the bitter cold leaves soon. My daughter is heading down here on Sunday, she will be glad to get out of the cold...
